Message The ECU pinouts for 90-95 are all the same, which leads me to believe the ECU switches ground for the injectors, regardless of whether they are old or new style. My 1993 schematic shows that the injectors will still receive constant +12 volts, even if the ECU is unpluged. I'm thinking that maybe the 95 injectors receive switched power by means of a relay?

I think the constant 12 volts to the early style injectors is more a function of the engine harness and relays, not so much the ECU. The early architecture had constant 12 volts feeding the ecu (memory) and for the injectors. If one was to splice in a relay to isolate the injectors from battery power yet still supply the ecu with constant power for memory, the early injector failure could be minimized or possibly eliminated. This relay could be triggered with an ignition source.

Anyone have a 1995 schematic to verify this?
